self-portrait:
fractured

I Embroidered a Self-Portrait: Fractured, which I translated traditional fiber arts into a modern graphic visual.

Through an exploration of color, photo collage, and imagery, I rediscovered layers of meaning and realizations of the self through my process. Utilizing my self-portrait as my subject, I abstracted my likeness to convey the fragmented spirit of personal identity. This piece combines traditional craft with contemporary expression.
