Dragoncon Rebrand

 I designed a brand identity rebrand for an Environmental Branding Class. 

When rebranding Dragon Con, I focused on creating a cohesive and vibrant identity that celebrates the convention’s eclectic energy and diverse community. I started by refining the wordmark and dynamic logo system, ensuring their versatility across the different niches while maintaining consistency with the brand’s polished aesthetic. I focused on five main categories: Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Gaming, Comics, and Anime. My goal was to design a solid branding system that focused on pixel-based characters from the structure of the wordmark. Additionally, I was tasked with designing a map and signage system which continued the brand's focus.
