THE STATE BOTANICAL GARDEN OF GEORGIA
I designed a brand identity concept for an interior design student group.
In the Layton Design Studio, my team was tasked with creating a new brand identity for the State Botanical Garden of Georgia that feels timeless, simple, and welcoming. The focus is on designing a flexible logo, neutral color palette (no blue), and a clear style that can be expanded later into areas like the gift shop, café, and outdoor spaces. The goal is to modernize the garden’s look without losing the traditional feel that older visitors value, while making it more inviting for students.

Our team collaborated closely throughout the project, starting with an in-person meeting with the interior design students to review material choices and design goals. After the meeting, we stayed in touch through email, sharing color palette edits and making adjustments based on their feedback. We sent the final deliverables, including the logo, color system, and brand guidelines, digitally so they would be easy to access and apply in future work.
